Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Dank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nike Mombai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dank kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is let the bodies hit the floor. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mombai stuffs the takedown.
Mombai connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dank misses with a takedown attempt - Mombai sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mombai scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dank doesn't seem bothered though.
Dank changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mombai tries to avoid it but Dank manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mombai to the ground. Mombai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mombai scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dank in his tracks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dank shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mombai but Mombai pushes him off and we're back to square one.
John Dank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mombai scores with a jab to the body.
Dank is breathing heavily.
Mombai jabs Dank to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dank takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mombai sends Dank crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mombai is motioning to the referee to let Dank up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Dank is rocked!
It looks like John Dank has been cut.
Mombai scores with a hook to the body. Dank takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
BOOM! Mombai lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dank. Dank tries to recover but Mombai is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dank lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nike Mombai!
