Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nestor Makhno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lath Hoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Go Ninja-Vanilla Ice kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Makhno is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoy lands a jab.
Makhno is breathing heavily.
Hoy steps into range and cracks Makhno with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Makhno flops backwards and Hoy dives into his guard looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoy landing with the ground and pound.
Hoy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hoy slips nicely into half guard.
Hoy is looking for a kimura but Makhno is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hoy to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoy maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Makhno could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hoy has cracked it and Makhno is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hoy!
