Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jalmari Kianto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juulio Hulmurinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulmurinta throws a wild body kick that Kianto sees coming a mile off.
Kianto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hulmurinta pinned against the cage. Hulmurinta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Juulio Hulmurinta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hulmurinta fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hulmurinta lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kianto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kianto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hulmurinta looks to land a combination but Kianto avoids it well.
Kianto throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Hulmurinta counters with a leg kick.
Hulmurinta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kianto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kianto tries to clinch but Hulmurinta is having none of it.
Kianto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hulmurinta but Hulmurinta pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jalmari Kianto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hulmurinta throws a head kick but Kianto moves out of range.
Kianto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hulmurinta.
Kianto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hulmurinta as he jumps to the side.
Kianto is breathing heavily.

Hulmurinta pushes Kianto up against the cage in a clinch.
Hulmurinta wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hulmurinta is looking to break free of the clinch but Kianto has double underhooks.

Hulmurinta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hulmurinta throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hulmurinta is looking to slow Kianto down with leg kicks.
Hulmurinta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kianto clobbers Hulmurinta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kianto thows a leg kick but Hulmurinta checks it
and Hulmurinta counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kianto connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kianto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kianto grinds an elbow into Hulmurinta's temple.

Hulmurinta is rocked!

Kianto decides to stand back up.
Kianto takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kianto displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Hulmurinta is still on wobbly legs! Can Kianto finish him?
Nice sprawl there from Hulmurinta as Kianto shoots in.

Kianto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hulmurinta wants to control but Kianto is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hulmurinta is looking to escape.
Hulmurinta seems to have recovered his senses.

Kianto escapes and gets back to his feet.
Hulmurinta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kianto tries to move into range but Hulmurinta moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hulmurinta lands with a slapping head kick.

Kianto darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hulmurinta avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kianto.
Kianto missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kianto lands with a punch from half guard.
Kianto takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kianto wants to stand up but Hulmurinta is controlling the position.
Kianto landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hulmurinta pushes Kianto off looking to stand but Kianto dives back in and keeps control.

Kianto stands up from half guard.
Hulmurinta blocks a leg kick.
Hulmurinta blocks the body kick.
Hulmurinta throws a leg kick but Kianto sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kianto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kianto drops Hulmurinta with a beautiful combination! Hulmurinta stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kianto is looking for the KO!
Kianto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A leg kick checked by Kianto.
Kianto tries to clinch but Hulmurinta is having none of it.
Kianto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hulmurinta stuns Kianto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hulmurinta lands with a nice body kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hulmurinta.

A head kick lands from Hulmurinta that sends Kianto to the canvas. Kianto tries to scramble back to his feet but Hulmurinta brings him back down into side control.

Kianto is rocked!

It looks like Jalmari Kianto has been cut.
Hulmurinta scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kianto to see if he's OK.
Oh Kianto is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hulmurinta scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kianto is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hulmurinta can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
