Saber stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saber wants it to stay on the feet.

Uppercut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Saber napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Uppercut creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Saber sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Uppercut tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Uppercut has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Uppercut is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saber is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Uppercut works to advance to full mount. Saber defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Uppercut has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
