Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laurie Naples (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Persius Exavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Persius Exavier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Laurie Naples!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Persius Exavier!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naples shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Exavier is working to get back to half guard.
Naples is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Exavier can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Exavier is looking to improve his position but Naples isn't that keen on the idea.
Naples sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Naples trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Exavier is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Naples throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Naples knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Exavier on the ground.

Naples is looking to stand but Naples has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Exavier manages to reverse the position and now he's in Naples's guard. Nice work there by Exavier.

Naples is breathing heavily.
Exavier is trying to work for a kimura but Naples is defending well.
Naples is looking to control Exavier's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Naples avoid being mounted?

Exavier looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Naples is looking to improve his position.
Exavier is looking for a kimura but Naples is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Exavier to get the leverage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Naples is looking to improve his position.
Exavier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Naples is just riding it out for now. Exavier eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Exavier wants to work for an arm triangle but Naples is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Persius Exavier dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Horrible takedown by Exavier or perhaps it was just good defense by Naples which made him look bad.
Exavier shoots in looking for a takedown. Naples tries to sprawl out of it but Exavier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Naples manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Naples shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Exavier manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Exavier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Naples can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Exavier is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Naples is aware though and is defending well.
Exavier has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Naples should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Exavier has tightened it up now! Naples should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
