The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzou works over Bones's head and body with a nice combination.
Lauzou looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bones shoots in but Lauzou avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lauzou misses with a wild combination.
Dem Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lauzou pinned against the cage. Lauzou gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bones tries to keep at a distance but Lauzou has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lauzou lands an elbow that stopped Bones in his tracks for a moment.
Lauzou is looking to break free of the clinch but Bones has double underhooks.
Bones throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Lauzou changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lauzou looks up at the clock and then as Bones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lauzou smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Lauzou throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bones.
Lauzou doesn't manage to clinch there - Bones circles away.

Lauzou tries to bum rush Bones with a series of wild strikes but Bones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bones shoots in for a double leg but Lauzou sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lauzou drops Bones with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lauzou follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
