The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goose shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Escobedo sprawls well. Escobedo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Goose gets slowly back to his feet.

Goose working over Escobedo with some ground and pound. Escobedo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Goose lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Escobedo quite badly. Escobedo pulls Goose in close trying to recover. Goose postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Escobedo on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Escobedo doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
