The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes throws a push kick but Bruiser slaps the foot to one side.
Nunes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bruiser .
Bruiser takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nunes looks for a takedown but Bruiser sprawls well.
Nunes has his takedown stuffed

and Bruiser counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nunes is looking to control Bruiser 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nunes avoid being mounted?
Bruiser thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Nunes to regain full guard.

Nunes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bruiser has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nunes has managed to get both his arms back between Bruiser 's legs - danger averted.

Nunes tries to hold on but Bruiser postures up.
