Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Carlgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker has chosen Spiderman theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Parker throws a series of punches but Carlgren moves out of range.
Carlgren shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Parker tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Carlgren is looking for a kimura but Parker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carlgren to get the leverage.
Carlgren knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground.
Parker works his way to full guard. Good work.
Parker trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Carlgren prevents Parker from escaping the position.

Carlgren tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Carlgren has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker is looking for a sweep.
Parker tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Carlgren working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Parker striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parker throws a nice looking combination but Carlgren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Parker tries to work over Carlgren's front leg with a kick but Carlgren checks it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Carlgren!
Parker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Carlgren changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Parker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Carlgren is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Carlgren wants to work for an arm triangle but Parker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carlgren is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Parker has managed to free his arm - good work.
Carlgren is looking for a kimura but Parker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carlgren to get the leverage.

Carlgren drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carlgren jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Parker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carlgren counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Parker's guard now.

Parker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Carlgren has hold of Parker's hands but Parker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carlgren manages to get to full guard.
Parker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carlgren looking for a triangle here. Parker is fighting it but it looks tight! Carlgren pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Parker is tapping out - this one is all over!
