The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pharaoh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pharaoh is defended easily by Maniac.
Pharaoh fails with the takedown
and Maniac connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Belgian Maniac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Pharaoh.

Pharaoh takes the fight into the clinch.

Maniac escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pharaoh tries for a kimura but Maniac is defending well.

Pharaoh goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Maniac rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pharaoh's guard! Nice work there by Maniac!

Maniac looks up at the clock and then as Pharaoh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Maniac smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Pharaoh pushes Maniac away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Maniac gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Maniac tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maniac has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee asks Maniac politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Maniac prefers to stall for the moment though.

Maniac advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pharaoh is wriggling around trying to escape.

Maniac fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pharaoh is still in real trouble! Can Maniac finish him?
Maniac pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Maniac connects with a bit shot that sees Pharaoh covering up! More strikes from Maniac and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Maniac is our winner by TKO!
