Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Draven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eric Draven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertson has taken the fight to the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Draven is bucking up trying to escape but Robertson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Draven lands a leg kick that knocks Robertson off balance momentarily.
Draven displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Robertson throws out the jab.

Draven throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Robertson throws a hook to the side of Draven's head but Draven sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Robertson looks to clinch
and Draven counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Robertson connects with a right hand. Draven shakes it off.
Draven takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Draven slaps away a takedown attempt from Robertson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Robertson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Draven looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Draven is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Eric Draven has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Draven wants to improve his position but Robertson is controlling well.
Robertson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

George Robertson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Robertson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
