The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A left and a right from Boss both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Cain Hernandez has been cut.
Boss shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hernandez defends it nicely.
Hernandez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boss shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hernandez has Boss up against the cage in a clinch.
Boss is trying to force a seperation but Hernandez has the dominant position.
Hernandez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hernandez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boss backwards.

It looks like Brian Boss has been cut.
Boss is looking to control Hernandez's arms but Hernandez gets an underhook and turns him. Now Boss has his back to the cage.
Boss avoids a wild elbow strike from Hernandez.
Boss can't break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boss is looking to break free of the clinch but Hernandez has double underhooks.

Boss breaks the clinch.
Hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boss swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hernandez. Boss does a little dance to reset his feet.

Boss is rocked!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hernandez creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Boss is out cold and this one is all over! Hernandez climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
