Pekkanen has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Jani Pekkanen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sakari Mora's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pekkanen tries to avoid it but Mora manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pekkanen to the ground. Pekkanen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pekkanen looks gassed!
Mora shoots in for a takedown but Pekkanen shows good takedown defense.

Mora drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mora passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Pekkanen is trying to escape the position but Mora is controlling the position.

Mora has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pekkanen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mora yanks on the arm and Pekkanen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mora.
