Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between SDf Asdf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Darian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asdf plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Darian cracks Asdf with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like SDf Asdf has been cut.

Asdf could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Darian will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Asdf lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Darian sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Asdf tries to land a front kick but Darian steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sloppy strikes from Darian. Those never looked like landing.
Darian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darian shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Darian is just content to waste time from the top position. Asdf takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Darian accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Asdf is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Darian has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Asdf managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Darian.
Darian has knee on belly momentarily but Asdf bucks him off and regains half guard.
Asdf wants to get back to full guard.

Asdf wants to stand back up but Darian manages to pass into side control.
Darian throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Oooooh!!! Darian has knocked Asdf down with a huge combo! Darian steps away and waves a wobbly Asdf back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Asdf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
SDf Asdf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Darian.
Darian lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Darian feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Asdf crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
