Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Kagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Specials - A Message To You Rudy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Marley - just one landing.
Marley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A left lands for Marley.
Kagawa tries to move into range but Marley moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kagawa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Marley jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Marley. Kagawa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kagawa misses with a double jab.

Kagawa throws a shot from downtown. Marley moves away and avoids it.
Kagawa throws a hook but Marley blocks it.
Marley thows a body shot but no joy.
Kagawa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marley circles away quickly and effectively.
Kagawa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Marley scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Marley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kagawa dodges the punch combination from Marley.
Marley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kagawa has time to react.

and Kagawa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Rudy Marley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marley throws a series of punches but Kagawa avoids them all with ease.
Kagawa takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kagawa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marley.
Kagawa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Marley back to the cage. Kagawa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Marley throws a hook but Kagawa avoids it easily.

Oh Kagawa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marley ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Marley jabs Kagawa right on the nose. Kagawa blinks but takes it well.
Marley is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kagawa had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Marley drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kagawa right on the button. Kagawa goes down! Marley follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Marley gets the win via TKO!
