Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Daddy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kazushi Sakuraba's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daddy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sakuraba to the ground. Daddy is now in Sakuraba's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sakuraba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Daddy shoots in looking for a takedown but Sakuraba manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daddy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Daddy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Daddy showed some decent athleticism there.

Sakuraba won't allow Daddy to pass to mount.
Sakuraba is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Daddy is trying to control the action in half guard but Sakuraba is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Daddy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sakuraba is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Daddy scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sakuraba is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daddy pulls his head out easily.

Daddy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Daddy has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sakuraba's face.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daddy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sakuraba is looking to escape.

Daddy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sakuraba has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Daddy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sakuraba tries to bum rush Daddy with a series of wild strikes but Daddy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Big Daddy has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daddy tries for a takedown but Sakuraba sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Daddy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sakuraba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sakuraba scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sakuraba throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Big Daddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daddy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sakuraba's waist but Sakuraba gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Daddy off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Daddy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Daddy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sakuraba cracks Daddy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Daddy shoots in for a takedown but Sakuraba shows good takedown defense.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sakuraba shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Daddy eats them both and turns towards Sakuraba to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Daddy is rocked!
Daddy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oh Daddy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sakuraba goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Daddy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sakuraba counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Daddy off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Sakuraba follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Daddy was out before he hit the floor.
