The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minowa slaps away a takedown attempt from Mashimoto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Minowa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mashimoto doesn't seem bothered though.
Mashimoto walks into a straight right hand from Minowa.

It looks like Kenji Mashimoto has been cut.

Minowa drops Mashimoto with a big left hand and mounts him. Mashimoto is in big trouble!

Mashimoto is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Minowa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Oh Mashimoto is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mashimoto seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Suzuki Minowa was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Good standup being displayed there by Minowa as he connects with a hook.
Minowa misses with a few strikes there.

Minowa steps into range and cracks Mashimoto with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mashimoto flops backwards and Minowa dives into his guard looking to finish!

Kenji Mashimoto's cut is getting worse.

Mashimoto is looking to stand up but Minowa isn't so interested in that idea.
Mashimoto is breathing heavily.
Minowa content to stall in guard here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Suzuki Minowa wasn't active enough on the ground.
Minowa is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Minowa shuts the power down on Mashimoto. Lights out, game over! Minowa is your winner.
