The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Starian. No joy for Morgan on that attempt.
Starian displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morgan.
Starian bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Morgan's head backwards.
Horrible takedown by Morgan or perhaps it was just good defense by Starian which made him look bad.
Decon Starian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Morgan.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Starian but Starian pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Morgan shoots in for a double leg but Starian sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Morgan closes the distance and clinches up with Starian, looking for a takedown. Morgan pushes Starian against the cage but Starian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Starian avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Starian attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Starian, as that shot connected.
Decon Starian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Starian lands with a straight right. Morgan didn't see that one coming.
Starian connects with a right hand. Morgan shakes it off.
Starian scores with a jab to the body.
Morgan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Starian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morgan somewhat.
Starian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Morgan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morgan moves forwards but Starian connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Starian fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Morgan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Starian is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Morgan.

Morgan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Starian on the side of the head.

Starian cracks Morgan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Starian has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Morgan to stand back up!
Morgan circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Starian. Morgan falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Starian!
