Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Exley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Villi Kotobalavu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotobalavu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Another Body Murdered" by Faith No more & Boo-Yaa Tribe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Exley takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kotobalavu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Kotobalavu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kotobalavu tries to move to mount but Exley blocks the move with his legs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Exley is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kotobalavu connects with a decent elbow.
Kotobalavu is working Exley over with some ground and pound from side control.
Kotobalavu in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Exley is looking to regain half guard here but Kotobalavu keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kotobalavu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Exley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kotobalavu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Exley is trying to defend but Kotobalavu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Kotobalavu lands a big right hand that sends Exley crashing to the mat! Kotobalavu stays standing though and waves Exley back to his feet!

Kotobalavu is stalking Exley. Exley circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Kotobalavu, and it's lights out! Exley really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
