Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Average (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Quan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quan has chosen MC Hammer- U Can't Touch This as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Sun Quan enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Quan.
Quan fails with a takedown attempt.
Quan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Average manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Average lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quan circles away quickly and effectively.
Sun Quan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Average darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Quan taking some punishment here, with Average in his half guard.
Quan is trying to get back to full guard.

Average is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Quan defends it well.
Average has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Average decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Average defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Quan.

Quan gets tackled into the cage by Average. Average maintains the clinch.

Average pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Average dips to his left and cracks Quan with an uppercut!

Average feints and as Quan raises his hands in defense, Average changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Quan wants to stand and escape but Average is having none of it.
Average wants to control from the top but Quan keeps moving.
Average forces his way into half guard.
Quan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Average thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Quan's head.

Average is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Average seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Quan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
