Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Finnian Liam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoshiko Takara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liam comes into the arena with Check to Check blaring out of the sound system. Takara has chosen Heartbeats as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Hoshiko Takara enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takara misses with a low kick.
Takara throws an overhand right that lands on Liam's shoulder, as Liam tries to avoid the shot.
Liam looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A nice inside leg kick there by Takara. That's going to slow Liam down.
A solid leg kick lands there for Takara.
Liam takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Liam takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Takara thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takara connects with a body shot that sends Liam's belly button to the back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Takara throws a chopping leg kick but Liam manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Takara throws a leg kick which misses Liam's front leg but catches the back leg as Liam tries to avoid it.
Takara is looking to slow Liam down with leg kicks.
Liam is breathing heavily.

Takara scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Liam doesn't seem bothered though.
Takara dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Liam. That did some damage!

Takara connects with a leg kick. Liam looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Liam gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Oh Liam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takara throws a quick inside leg kick.
Liam seems to have got his legs back now.
Takara lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Takara.
Takara clinches up with Liam and pushes him back against the cage.

Takara cracks Liam with a nice body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Takara creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Nice uppercut lands for Takara. That snapped Liam's head back.
Takara lunges at Liam with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Liam's hand.
Liam keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Liam is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The crowd cheers as Takara lands an impressive looking overhand right. Liam doesn't seem phased though.

Liam takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

No joy there for Liam, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Takara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Takara throws a nice looking combination but Liam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Takara looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Takara backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Liam's temple! It sends Liam violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Takara celebrates and the doctors try to help Liam!
