Sanchez sneaks out the side door and pushes Timmons away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Timmons fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sanchez sprawls well initially but Timmons persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Timmons wants to pass to mount but Sanchez is defending the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Timmons shoots in and drives through. Sanchez sprawls well.
Timmons is breathing heavily.
Timmons will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sanchez stalks Timmons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Timmons's face. Timmons staggers backwards, shaken.

Timmons is rocked!
Timmons drops his hands momentarily. Sanchez doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Timmons staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Timmons doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Diego Sanchez!
