Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Fitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gilbert Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hernandez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hernandez throws a head kick but Fitz moves out of range.
Fitz blocks a head kick by Hernandez.
Hernandez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fitz.
Fitz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hernandez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez lands a head kick!
Fitz lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Gilbert Hernandez has been cut.
Hernandez looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fitz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hernandez is trying to defend but Fitz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fitz is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Fitz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hernandez for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fitz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Liam Fitz.

Fitz shoots in and bounces Hernandez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fitz is working for a rear naked choke. Hernandez is not defending it well and Fitz has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hernandez refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hernandez's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
