Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Millar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marcellous Nikoteen!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikoteen tries to clinch but Millar moves out of range.
Millar looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nikoteen tries to clinch up.
Nikoteen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Millar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nikoteen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Millar swivels and escapes.
Millar throws a wild body kick that Nikoteen sees coming a mile off.
Nikoteen misses with a takedown attempt - Millar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nikoteen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Millar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Michael Millar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcellous Nikoteen.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Millar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Nikoteen working a defensive guard here.
Nikoteen throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Nikoteen wants to get back to his feet but Millar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Nikoteen striking off his back but it's not causing Millar any problems.

Nikoteen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Millar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nikoteen has his hands clasped together around Millar's back. He's all about the action.
Nikoteen wants to control but Millar is keeping busy.
Millar really is a fat lump.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nikoteen throws a head kick that misses.
Millar stuffs the takedown.
Nikoteen lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nikoteen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Oooooh!!! Nikoteen has knocked Millar down with a huge combo! Nikoteen steps away and waves a wobbly Millar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Michael Millar has been cut.
Crunch! Nikoteen slams his shin into Millar's torso.
Nikoteen shoots in for a takedown but Millar shows good takedown defense.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nikoteen lands a left and a right that send Millar crashing to the mat, dazed. Nikoteen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Millar is rocked!
Michael Millar's cut is getting worse.
Nikoteen goes for a small jab and connects. Now Nikoteen goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Millar stumbles back but Nikoteen runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Millar to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Millar will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marcellous Nikoteen!
