The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skunder takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Skunder fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Williams looks to land a left hand but Skunder moved out of range nicely.
Skunder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
Skunder moves out of range of the strikes.
Skunder moves forwards but Williams connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Shamus Skunder has been cut.
Skunder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Williams thuds his right hand into Skunder's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams throws a hook to the side of Skunder's head but Skunder sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oooooh!!! Williams has knocked Skunder down with a huge combo! Williams steps away and waves a wobbly Skunder back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Williams might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Skunder has time to react.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Skunder. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Skunder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Skunder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Skunder looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
