PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Bosco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drake might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kiss - God of Thunder. Bosco has chosen The 6th Gate as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosco moves in looking to clinch but Drake pushes him off.
Drake keeps the fight on the outside.

Bosco is trying to stand.
Drake prevents Bosco from improving his position.
Drake landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bosco is looking for a sweep. Drake is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Drake shoots in looking for a takedown. Bosco tries to sprawl out of it but Drake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bosco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aleksander Bosco is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Drake misses with a takedown attempt - Bosco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Drake closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Drake is taking a breather. Bosco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bosco wants to control but Drake is keeping busy.

Drake stands up and beckons Bosco to join him on the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice takedown defense from Bosco. No joy for Drake on that attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bosco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Drake has picked Bosco up - he's going for a ride! Drake dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Drake has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bosco is proving hard to escape from.
Bosco is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Drake changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bosco looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drake, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
