Yoo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gang Starr - You Know My Steez . Schoonover has chosen Daylight - Matt and Kim as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoo swings for the body but Schoonover moves out of range.
Yoo misses with a wild body shot.
Schoonover connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A shot to the liver by Yoo. Beautiful body shot.
Yoo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Julius Schoonover has been cut.
Schoonover keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yoo looks to score with a jab to the body but Schoonover is just out of range.
Schoonover lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Schoonover drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schoonover sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yoo's guard.
Schoonover is taking a breather. Yoo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Schoonover works his foot free and advances to mount.
