Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Su Baru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moss Cow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Su Baru!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moss Cow!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baru blocks a head kick by Cow.
Cow looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Baru looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Baru postures up and lands a big shot to Cow's brow.

Cow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Baru cracks Cow with a solid left hand.

Cow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Baru working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cow's head.
Baru trying to control but Cow is working from the bottom.
Baru is working Cow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baru doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baru manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Baru looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Baru lands a nice short elbow.

Baru has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cow is refusing to be controlled, as Baru sits in half guard.
Cow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Baru drops an elbow to the side of Cow's head.
Baru lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Baru wants to control but Cow is keeping him busy.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cow is looking to improve his position.
Cow is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Baru scores with a couple of nice shots.
Cow regains full guard. Nicely done.

Cow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Baru defends well.
Baru scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Baru is in close to Cow's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cow has momentary wrist control but Baru slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Cow looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Baru content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Cow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baru gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Baru connects with a couple of short punches.

Cow has his foot on Baru's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baru works his way back into a safe position though.

Baru sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cow's guard.
Baru frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

A nice elbow there by Baru.
Baru postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cow looks a forlorn figure.


Cow is rocked!
Baru trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Cow is in a horrible position here. Baru smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Cow is still in real trouble! Can Baru finish him?
Baru postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cow looks a forlorn figure.
Cow sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Cow seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cow is staying active underneath Baru, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Su Baru dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Baru drops Cow with a left and a right! Oh, Cow is hurt - Baru dives into side control looking to finish!
Baru creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Baru looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cow manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cow is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Baru scores with a couple of nice shots.
Baru slips a nice elbow through Cow's hands, connecting with Cow's forehead.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baru pulls his head out easily.

Su Baru overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Baru is keen to just control but Cow is a slippery customer.

Cow is bucking up trying to escape but Baru cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baru has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cow's face.
Cow is looking to improve his position but Baru isn't that keen on the idea.
Cow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Baru postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Cow out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Baru goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Su Baru!
