Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kimi Kubica!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gob Lin!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin fails with the takedown
letting Kubica counter with a right hand.
Lin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kubica but Kubica pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lin tries for a takedown but Kubica circles away easily
and Kubica counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kimi Kubica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gob Lin.
Lin shoots in for a takedown but Kubica shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lin closes the distance and clinches up with Kubica, looking for a takedown. Lin pushes Kubica against the ropes but Kubica circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kubica circles away.
Lin tries to move into range but Kubica moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kubica sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lin somewhat.
Kubica lands a jab-cross combination.

Kubica works the jab nicely.
Kubica bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lin's head.
Lin is rocked!
Lin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lin is still on wobbly legs! Can Kubica finish him?
Lin dives in and grabs Kubica's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kubica pushes down on Lin's head and hops out.
Lin seems to have recovered his senses.
Lin looks gassed!

Nice body punch from Kubica.
Lin takes one to the side of the head.
Kubica sends Lin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kubica is motioning to the referee to let Lin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lin fails to land the takedown.
Lin dives in and grabs Kubica's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kubica pushes down on Lin's head and hops out.
Kubica scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kubica uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lin has time to react.
Kubica closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lin! Kubica dives in looking to finish! Lin is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kimi Kubica!
