Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terry Tonal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Mccarthey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tonal kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is When I'm Gone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccarthey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tonal paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Tonal cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Tonal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tonal shoots in but Mccarthey avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Tonal counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mccarthey!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tonal won't let Mccarthey get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tonal is landing with some decent strikes but Mccarthey is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Tonal lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mccarthey is rocked!
Mccarthey's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Mccarthey is still in real trouble! Can Tonal finish him?
Tonal has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mccarthey's face.

Tonal postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mccarthey looks a forlorn figure.
Tonal postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Mccarthey in real trouble here! The ref calls for Mccarthey to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
