The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orochi connects with a leg kick. Richards looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Richards takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Richards shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Orochi moves into the clinch.

Richards drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Orochi gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Yamata Orochi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Richards.

Aaron Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Aaron Richards has been cut.
Look low, kick high! Orochi uses the oldest trick in the book to send Richards tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Orochi is absolutely delighted - when Richards wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
