Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Dir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky The Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Hitman has chosen All within My Hands as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Dir misses the target.
Dir fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Hitman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dir throws a big shot that misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Hitman manages to avoid it.
The Hitman has a takedown stuffed.
The fighters circling - Dir throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dir misses with a wild body shot.
The Hitman with a poor takedown
and Dir counters with a nice body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dir scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The Hitman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dir.
Dir thows a body shot but no joy.
Dir misses the shot to the body.
Dir takes a swing at The Hitman's ribcage but misses.
Dir with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Dir is looking to wear down The Hitman with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The Hitman shoots in and gets a takedown into Dir's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The Hitman is looking to work some ground and pound but Dir has wrist control.

It looks like Shawn Dir has been cut.
Dir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Hitman on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Hitman distracts Dir with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Oh Dir is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Hitman stands up over Dir, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The Hitman postures up in Dir's guard and throws a big left but Dir blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Hitman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dir works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dir wants to control but The Hitman passes easily into half guard.
Dir seems to have got his legs back now.
The Hitman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The Hitman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dir is breathing heavily.
Dir has hold of The Hitman's hands but The Hitman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Shawn Dir's cut is getting worse.
The Hitman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dir quite badly. Dir pulls The Hitman in close trying to recover. The Hitman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dir on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dir doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
