PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dan Gable was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Rogers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rogers slaps away a takedown attempt from Gable, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rogers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Rogers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gable backwards.

Gable throws a right hand that Rogers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rogers also avoids with ease.

Let's hope that Gable has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gable postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rogers in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rogers to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
