The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darius pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mart is out of range and Darius settles back down.
Darius scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mart is defended easily by Darius.
Mart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Darius manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Darius blocks a head kick by Mart.

Mart moves in looking to clinch but Darius pushes him off.
Darius throws a low kick but Mart moves out of range easily.
Mart wants to clinch up but Darius keeps it at a distance.
Darius lands with a nice body punch.
Braxton Darius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darius displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mart.
Braxton Darius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Juan Mart.
Mart takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Darius drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Mart's head, knocking him out cold! Darius is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
