The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feigel looks to clinch

and Thomas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Feigel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Feigel is looking to stand up but Thomas isn't so interested in that idea.
Feigel is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Thomas dives into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Feigel wants to stand and escape but Thomas is having none of it.

Thomas lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Feigel quite badly. Feigel pulls Thomas in close trying to recover. Thomas postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Feigel on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Feigel doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
