Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terry Tonq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparks has chosen Viva Las Vegas by Dead Kennedys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonq bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sparks throws a lazy right hand but Tonq sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sparks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tonq swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sparks shoots in for a takedown but Tonq shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sparks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tonq.
No luck for Sparks with that takedown attempt.
Tonq looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Sparks throws a lazy right hand but Tonq sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sparks shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tonq's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sparks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tonq doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tonq manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tonq got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sparks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tonq has managed to get both his arms back between Sparks's legs - danger averted.

Tonq rolls with it to try and escape but Sparks cranks on the arm and Tonq is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
