The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Belechnyiven scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Gary Passmore has been cut.

Passmore fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belechnyiven sprawls well initially but Passmore persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belechnyiven is looking to improve his position.

Belechnyiven is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Passmore pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belechnyiven is trying to stand.

Passmore is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Belechnyiven defends it well.
Passmore working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Belechnyiven's thigh. Belechnyiven counters though and makes it back to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Belechnyiven is on top in guard.

Passmore is looking for a triangle but Belechnyiven pushes his legs off easily.
Passmore might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Belechnyiven lands a couple of digs.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Passmore has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Belechnyiven can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Belechnyiven would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Passmore is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Passmore is breathing heavily.
Passmore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Belechnyiven is one step ahead there.

Belechnyiven gets to his feet - Passmore follows without any prompting.

Passmore is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Belechnyiven reverses the position - he's now on top in Passmore's guard.

Passmore is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Belechnyiven pulls his head out easily.
Passmore could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Passmore slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Passmore looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Belechnyiven trying to control the position from guard on top but Passmore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Passmore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Belechnyiven doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Belechnyiven manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Belechnyiven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Passmore with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Belechnyiven wants to control but Passmore is keeping busy.

Belechnyiven has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Passmore is defending well but eventually Belechnyiven manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Passmore has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
