Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Chestnut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conrad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chestnut kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Albatross, Albatross, Albatross. Kenneth Chestnut could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Conrad Jackson's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conrad Jackson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chestnut scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chestnut sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chestnut tries to get to full guard but Jackson has control of the leg.
Jackson works his way into side control.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chestnut. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson looks up at the clock and then as Chestnut takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jackson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Still in half guard, Jackson seems content to control.
Jackson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chestnut!

It looks like Jackson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Jackson lands a big shot there that rocks Chestnut but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Conrad Jackson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Chestnut has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.

Chestnut working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jackson wants to control from the top but Chestnut keeps moving.

Jackson drops back looking for a leg! Chestnut is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chestnut manages to kick Jackson off! Jackson jumps back into Chestnut's guard.
Chestnut is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea.

Chestnut stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A close second round but Conrad Jackson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

I would just about give that final round to Conrad Jackson.
