Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saul Mollenhauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Bourque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Bourque will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Saul Mollenhauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Bourque!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourque tries to clinch there but Mollenhauer circles away.

Bourque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mollenhauer is working for a kimura but Bourque is defending it quite comfortably.
Bourque is trying to maintain the position but Mollenhauer is very close to passing his half guard.
Still in half guard, Mollenhauer seems content to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That's time! Mollenhauer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Bourque throws a leg kick which misses Mollenhauer's front leg but catches the back leg as Mollenhauer tries to avoid it.
Mollenhauer throws a series of punches but Bourque avoids them all with ease.

Mollenhauer has gone for a leg lock! Bourque slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mollenhauer's guard.

Bourque slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, if Bourque is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

I would just about give that final round to Paul Bourque.
I think Mollenhauer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
