The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brockenstein has a takedown stuffed.
Brockenstein wants to clinch.
Done cracks the inside of Brockenstein's front leg.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Done breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brockenstein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Done swivels and escapes.
Done jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brockenstein tries to land a leg kick but Done saw it coming and moves away.
Brockenstein circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brockenstein lands a head kick. Done smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Danga de danga de dang - Brockenstein scores with a four punch combination!

Done fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brockenstein, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Done breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Done moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Brockenstein is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brockenstein throws a head kick that misses.
Done throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Done misses with a looping right.
Done is looking to clinch.
Jab from Done.

It looks like Meat Brockenstein has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Done.
Done circles away from the clinch attempt.
Done throws a nice looking combination but Brockenstein bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brockenstein gets tackled into the cage by Done. Done maintains the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Done breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Done falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brockenstein counters with a series of strikes. Done will be more careful next time no doubt.
Done shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brockenstein sprawls well. Brockenstein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Done gets slowly back to his feet.

Done drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brockenstein pulls his leg out and moves away.
Done misses with a hook. Brockenstein ducked under it nicely.
Done tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brockenstein paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Done takes a swing at Brockenstein's ribcage but misses.
Some wild striking there from Done.
Brockenstein fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Meat Brockenstein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brockenstein dodges the punch combination from Done.

Brockenstein takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Done throws a front kick that sends Brockenstein stumbling back into the cage.
Done fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Done ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Done shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Done scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Brockenstein looking for submissions off his back.
Done drops an elbow to the side of Brockenstein's head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Done connects with a nice short shot to Brockenstein's temple.

Done decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

A good leg kick by Done.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Done.

Done stands up and beckons Brockenstein to his feet.
Done lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brockenstein at a distance.

Done closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brockenstein to the mat! Brockenstein manages to get full guard.

Done stands up and waves to Brockenstein to follow him.
Done will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Done scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Done throws a sloppy head kick and Brockenstein moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brockenstein shoots in for a takedown but Done shows good takedown defense.

Done has Brockenstein up against the cage in a clinch.
Brockenstein tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Done's elbow.
Knees in the clinch landing for Done.
Done creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Brockenstein's defenses.

Done escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Done shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Done was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brockenstein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Done on the ground.
Done landing punches.

Meat Brockenstein's cut is getting worse.
