The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orion loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch.
Damian Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Orion's waist but Orion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side.
Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Orion is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.

Orion pushes Sanchez up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanchez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Orion avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sanchez tries for a takedown. No joy.
Orion lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Sanchez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

It looks like Damian Sanchez has been cut.
Orion dips a shoulder and cracks Sanchez with a mighty uppercut! Sanchez falls back against the cage and Orion unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sanchez is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Orion screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
