The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penl stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva misses the jab.
Penl closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Penl missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Penl drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penl jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Penl rolls with it to try and escape but Silva cranks on the arm and Penl is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
