The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RedDevil slips a jab from Smithers.

RedDevil closes the distance and clinches up with Smithers, looking for a takedown. RedDevil pushes Smithers against the cage but Smithers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Smithers shoots in for a double leg but RedDevil sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alexander RedDevil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Worthington Smithers.
RedDevil tries a head kick but it misses.

RedDevil shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smithers pinned against the cage. Smithers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
RedDevil throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smithers's waist but Smithers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing RedDevil off to one side.

Smithers moves into the clinch successfully.

Smithers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Smithers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

RedDevil is trying to defend against the choke here but Smithers has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Smithers Tightens the hold and RedDevil taps out furiously! Smithers displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
