Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Fitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Pettis!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitz closes the distance and clinches up with Pettis, looking for a takedown. Fitz pushes Pettis against the cage but Pettis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pettis.
Pettis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fitz as he jumps to the side.
Pettis dives in and grabs Fitz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fitz pushes down on Pettis's head and hops out.
Liam Fitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Pettis.
A head kick misses from Fitz.

Pettis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fitz wants to get back to striking at distance but Pettis won't allow it.
Pettis connects with a knee to the head.
Pettis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fitz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fitz manages to break the clinch.
Fitz stuffs the takedown attempt from Pettis. Pettis gets slowly back to his feet.
Pettis throws a body kick that misses.

Fitz rushes Pettis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pettis is working for takedown but Fitz is calmly controlling the position for now.
Fitz gets underhooks to prevent Pettis's takedown attempt.

Pettis has had enough of the clinch but Fitz keeps him there for the moment.

Fitz tries to roll over but Pettis keeps him under control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pettis is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Pettis wants to work for an arm triangle but Fitz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fitz is not content to let Pettis control the position.

Fitz is breathing heavily.
Pettis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ground and pound from Pettis.
Pettis throwing shots but Fitz is blocking nicely.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fitz wants to get back to full guard.

Pettis maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Fitz could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pettis has cracked it and Fitz is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pettis!
