The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barden throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smith.

It looks like Dante Smith has been cut.
Barden throws a push kick but Smith slaps the foot to one side.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Barden.
Barden throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it.
Barden throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barden counters with a nice uppercut.
Barden lands with a good body shot.
Smith looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barden connects with a crisp jab.
Smith closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barden circles away.
Barden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice combination there by Barden.

Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barden catches Smith with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Barden digs a good hook to Smith's body.
Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Barden moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Barden lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Smith backs up against the cage.

Smith is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barden.

Barden lands a brutal head kick. Smith looks out on his feet and Barden throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
