The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desbiens keeps the fight on the outside.
Neztil tries to move into range but Desbiens moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Neztil looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Neztil tries to clinch up.

Neztil closes the distance and clinches.
Neztil with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Desbiens wants to break free but Neztil has control.

It looks like Mij Neztil has been cut.
Desbiens controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Neztil is still in real trouble! Can Desbiens finish him?

Desbiens drops back looking for a leg! Neztil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Neztil manages to kick Desbiens off! Desbiens jumps back into Neztil's guard.
Desbiens passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Neztil being controlled for a moment.
Neztil seems to have recovered his senses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neztil is trying to get back to half guard.

Desbiens is working to tighten is grip on Neztil's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Neztil has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Desbiens is really squeezing tight and eventually Neztil passes out! Desbiens breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
