Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ibrahimov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gracie.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ibrahimov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Ibrahimov.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ibrahimov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ibrahimov has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ibrahimov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ibrahimov's best efforts.
Ibrahimov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gracie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ibrahimov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ibrahimov pulls his head out easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hugo Gracie dominated that round.

and Ibrahimov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ibrahimov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Ibrahimov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gracie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ibrahimov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gracie pulls down on the head and he's put Ibrahimov to sleep! This one is all over!
