Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wanderson St Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rua looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

St Velasquez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Oh Rua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alberto Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rua drops his hands for a split second and St Velasquez immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Rua face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. St Velasquez follows up with a right hand that knocks Rua into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
