Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry LaRoche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernest Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales has chosen Rick Ross as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRoche tries to clinch

and Gonzales counters with a single leg into guard. LaRoche didn't expect that.

Gonzales stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Gonzales changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. LaRoche looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
LaRoche wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Gonzales has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gonzales shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gonzales showed some decent athleticism there.
LaRoche is breathing heavily.
Gonzales trying to mount his opponent but LaRoche defends it.
LaRoche knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gonzales on the ground.
LaRoche on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if LaRoche tries to get out of the position.
LaRoche tries to kick Gonzales off but Gonzales keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Gonzales wants to pass the guard but LaRoche is defending well.

Gonzales is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so LaRoche is just riding it out for now. Gonzales eventually gives up the hold.
Gonzales is trying to control the action in half guard but LaRoche is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Gonzales is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and LaRoche defends it well.
LaRoche wants to get back to his feet.
Gonzales passes to full mount!
Gonzales postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. LaRoche looks a forlorn figure.
