Overeem comes to the cage accompanied by right above it lil wayne. Griffin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wait and Bleed by Slipknot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shane Griffin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin misses with a hook.
Griffin looks to throw the jab but Overeem is out of range.

Overeem throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Griffin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Overeem fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Griffin is out of range.
Overeem throws a series of punches but Griffin avoids them all with ease.
Overeem lands a nice looking kick to the body. Griffin takes a step back to recover.
Griffin looks gassed!

Overeem bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Overeem cracks the inside of Griffin's front leg.

Overeem lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Overeem lands with an uppercut that bounces Griffin off the cage and back into range.
Griffin is still on wobbly legs! Can Overeem finish him?
Overeem connects with a superb combination that knocks Griffin out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Overeem before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Griffin!
